mission accomplished...
yay. apostles won today. first win of the season. now we're 1-6. yeah, we lost the first game of the doubleheader. oh well. one win is good. the other two teams from our church that were playing today were also 1-1 in their doubleheaders...nice...finally, not the blatantly suckier team..(win-wise, of course..)...for the day.

our head coach aaron won't be there for the last three games of the season. which means I'll have to step up and take over the technical aspect of the team (I'm the assistant coach). this will be quite a challenge...I have never been one for giving pep talks or pre/post inning/game critiques to the team...

Comments:
yeah softball is quite a big part of my summer. every weekend there is something I'm doing related to softball..either playing a game, umpiring a game, or going to games of the other teams from my church. and more often than not there've been a practice during the week. on top of that I help send out emails to remind people of stuff every week, and just organizational stuff.

and the whole pretending to be confident thing is a paradox. if you manage to pretend to be confident...you're pretty much confident. if I have nothing to say, I'm not very confident...if I do, then I'm confident. if I manage to pretend, that means I do have something to say, which means I wouldn't need to pretend...I'd be confident already.

and cousin, about dinner and/or whatever, you're on...let me know what day(s) you're free and we'll work something out.. I wonder if people check their previous comments....haha about to find out.

whoa...how do you do that?? that'd be an incredible ability to have..I don't know how to bs about stuff like that. actually, when it comes to speaking, I can't do anything but talk about something I'm totally convinced of.
